Level 4 Award in the Foundations of Yoga (RQF) is aimed at those learners who are experienced in Yoga and are keen to gain a better understanding of the principles that underpin
Yoga.
Level 4 Award in the Foundations of Yoga (RQF) will provide learners with the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to develop their personal practice and continue their journey in yoga
The purpose of the Level 4 Award in the Foundations of Yoga (RQF) is to equip established yoga practitioners with an understanding of the philosophy of yoga which underpins postures; to give them the skills to plan a personal practice and to review and adapt this for the duration of the course; to equip them with a range of breathing and relaxation techniques to apply in their personal practice.
There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification, but it is recommended that learners will have been regularly practising Yoga competently for 2 years.
In order to successfully achieve the Focus Awards Level 3 Award in the Foundations of Yoga (RQF) learners must complete the mandatory unit.
